Furthermore, Roof4Roof recently extended a helping hand to another Latin American family grieving the tragic loss of their 19-year-old son in a drive-by shooting just 2 months ago. Next, during a recent trip to North Carolina, USA, we practiced ‘random acts of kindness’, donating money to 7 unrelated people experiencing financial hardship. “One woman was in a wheelchair, completely alone, and two others were employees of the supermarket who were clearly struggling financially,” Anania shared. This act of generosity, carried out in a supermarket in Raleigh, underscores the company’s commitment to supporting those in need within their local communities.
Finally, in the same month, we were delighted to contribute to the adorable orphans and their amazing caregivers at the Asilo de San Vicente de Paul orphanage in Manila, Philippines. We had visited them over a decade ago when helping with disaster relief in Tacloban after Hurricane Haiyan/Yolanda devastated the country.
